What your day to day life will look like...
The candidate will join the Architecture DevOps team, responsible for the Cloud platform and DevOps tools and practices.
We are searching for a DevOps Engineer to assume the following functions:
- Define the DevOps strategy and the governance model for the development life cycle
- Automate and industrialise the development life cycle independently of the technology stack
- Migrate to hybrid cloud environments (IBM Cloud, GCP, Azure), containerisation of development life cycle tools
- Streamline and standardise DevOps solutions
- Establish and communicate development standards to the development teams and establish the automatic controls needed to comply with these standards
- Guide and help development teams in the construction and deployment of new solutions
- Identify in advance, diagnose and establish troubleshooting action plans
- Define the solution and coordinate the internal/external team involved in developing solutions
- Interface with customers to define the requirements
- Search for and assess new technologies/solutions that can be used to improve the DevOps platform through AI, Machine Learning, and others
- Have experience in project and management and agile methodology
- Have experience in demand management and infrastructure and application capacity management
- Have experience in managing and overseeing suppliers. Set and follow-up on SLAs, KPIs
Key requirements and skills:
- Required Training/Education: Computer Engineering / Telecommunications, Degree in Mathematics, Physics or similar
- Basics of DevOps architecture with experience as application architect in high-availability environments
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices (testing, CD/IQ, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience of container platforms (docker, k8s,
- CloudFoundry, Openshift, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience in ALM tools (e.g. Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Selenium, etc.)
- Knowledge or experience in other software development fields a plus:
- Mobile: ios/android
- Client-side technologies, javascript, html and css
- Framework javascript (react, angular, backbone, etc.)
- JEE or .NET: Spring, Applications Servers, etc.
- Databases: Oracle, MySql, SqlServer, NoSql
- Operating systems: Windows and Linux
- Knowledge in virtualisation, communications and networks a plus
- Medium to high level of English: spoken and written
- Experience: minimum 3 years’ experience as an architect, with the possibility of adapting the position to the experience provided
