What your day to day life will look like...
The Sales team is responsible for the development of all commercial tools used by CaixaBank employees in its relationship with customers.
Within this area, we have different fields, such as the main customer information system (Customer Record), which offers cross-sectional services to a large number of CaixaBank´s systems, an omnichannel product catalogue and campaign management systems for CaixaBank´s Obra Social (social work). In the area of customer omniexperience, we develop customer relationship solutions, including the CRM for Salesforce technology (called My Customers), the data analysis system Qlik Sense for the business network (called My Sales) and NPS for overall management and quantifying of the customer experience (with the surveys with LimeSurvey and Close The Loop in NRT).
Project:
At CaixaBank Tech, we are becoming more and more convinced of the importance and value of data within a company. It is for this reason that several years ago, My Sales (Qlik), our main laboratory test system agent, was established for the follow-up of the activity in branches, providing information about sales, challenges, campaigns… in real time.
In My Sales, it is our mission to continuously improve data analysis in order to provide our offices with all the information they need for their everyday work. The solution is based on the technology Qlik Sense, following the main pillars of data visualisation and making use of our data lake.
Our day-to-day tasks include the following:
- Projects with an omnichannel vision, with co-responsibilities with multiple marketing channels
- Establishing cross-organisation projects with a high degree of integration with different technological platforms and the integration and use of financial services and the insurance service.
- Participating in establishing disruptive solutions that link the banking business with technology.
- Qlik Sense projects in different commercial areas, following best practices for user-friendliness and design.
- OpenNow Architecture. Scaling applications, appification and use of microservices
- Implementing data quality rules and controls, as well as their monitoring and follow-up via the corresponding control panels and dashboards.
- Ongoing improvement with the optimisation of applicative processes and the detection of inefficiencies.
If you are passionate about...
- Designing projects focussed on practical application and collaborating on complex, large-scale implementations with many related fields.
- Leading and making decisions related to the comprehensive end-to-end project and its progress.
- Defining realistic metrics focussed on measuring the progress of developments and the service yield, recognising the associated costs.
- Designing defined solutions with all the implicated stakeholders.
- Identifying the technical risks and offering mitigation strategies.
Key competencies and requirements:
- Graduate/engineer in computer science or mathematics.
- Intermediate level of spoken and written English.
- Experience in Qlik Sense technology, data modelling, Kafka, Salesforce, …
- Previous experience in working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban or similar) and management tools (Clarity PPM, Confluence, Jira…) would be ideal.
- Experience in similar positions. Experience in a financial or insurance institution would be ideal.
- Awareness of the existence of coding standards
- Ability to adapt to the project or customer´s needs and to handle pressure.
- Active communication and listening in an understanding manner, as well as allowing colleagues to express themselves.
- Know the techniques for process escalation, high availability and load-sharing in order to appropriately manage the evolution of the projects.
- Ability to design both short-term (3 months) and medium-term (6-9 months) strategies in the projects they manage.
- Programming language and database management knowledge would be ideal.
