CaixaBank Tech works towards creating a QA chapter that aims to improve the quality of developments and, therefore, the services it offers to the accounting systems department.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Management and coordination of a new government, control and validation model of the accounting service:
- Quality control of the service
- Analysis on the differences and definition of remediation plans
- Coordination with all the process’ stakeholders
- Establishment of quality plans and monitoring the implementation
- Definition and implementation of the quality operating model within the scope of development quality, service quality and improving the service in the accounting department
- Within the scope of development quality, you will define the operating model relative to the Definition of requirements
Solution mode
- Approval of the solution model by Business.
- Test strategy and design.
- Environment and data strategy.
- Development control when dealing with designs.
- Technical Quality, Secure Development.
- Management of environments and generation of data in the environment in order to conduct exploratory and regression tests.
Functional Quality
- Functional Tests, Integration Test, Regression Tests / Exploratory Tests, Performance Tests, UAT Tests, Chaos Engineering, etc.
- Defect management, Test case automation, Version and deployment management.
- Establishment of quality gates throughout the development lifecycle,
thresholds etc., and applicable also within the scope of
Execution of the operating model
In addition to defining the quality assurance operating model, executing part of this model, which will mainly involve executing regression and/or exploratory tests on the Financial Terminal and main service channels (CaixaBankNow Web, APP, Imagin).
The main tasks are:
- Design of a battery of exploratory/regression tests together with platform QA members (Business Vision, end2end tests)
- Generation of data to conduct exploratory/regression tests
- Automation and execution of regression tests
- Management of defects and monitoring aimed at their resolution
- Reporting on progress of tests, cover for regression tests in the Bank’s critical processes, among others
- Quality of the service oriented towards the scope of functional quality
- Analysis on the quality of the information and the differences
- Post-mortem of incidents, root cause identification, action plans
- Change control in production
- Observability and Monitoring
- Anticipation of problems
- Quality of the accounting information’s data: establishment of the required cybersecurity and data quality controls aimed at avoiding data errors and loss of information (data breaches and/or leaks) and at providing the protection of accounting data
- Measurement of customer satisfaction, establishment and monitoring of action plans to improve the user’s perception
- Quality assurance of the defined operating model, via automatic and manual controls (certifications)
- Impact analysis on how to improve our customer’s satisfaction using these quality controls.
- Effectiveness of controls
- Tool requirements in order to implement the operating model
- Executive reporting at the level of quality of applications and infrastructure
- Ability to engage with the various development, architecture, infrastructure teams in order to manage the model’s compliance
- Management of quality audits
