What your day to day life will look like...
The Commercial team is responsible for developing all the commercial tools that CaixaBank employees use in their interactions with customers.
In this area, we have different products, like the main customer information system (Customer Record), which offers cross-sectional services to many of CaixaBank’s systems, the tool that allows for secure and streamlined communication between customers and employees (Muro/Wall), the QlikSense data analysis system for the commercial network (known as My Sales), the management of campaigns for the Obra Social of CaixaBank, the Salesforce CRM for the relationship with customers (called My Customers), and the entire NPS customer experience management and measurement (with LimeSurvey or Close The Loop in NRT).
On what projects?
At CaixaBank Tech, we know how important it is to be able to listen and talk to our customers on direct channels. Because of this, we have created tools like Muro (Wall), which let us set up instant and secure digital communication channels from the CaixaBank app and WhatsApp.
In Muro, we want to continue innovating and facilitating this communication in order to improve consumer satisfaction and increase the methods available to advisers to manage their day-to-day. For them, we use open technologies and agile methodologies to be at the cutting edge among financial institutions. We are also reinforcing these channels with LLM solutions like chatGPT to generate useful replies for customers and advisers.
What will your duties be?
- Projects with an omnichannel vision, with co-responsibilities with multiple marketing channels.
- Establish cross-organisation projects with a high degree of integration with different technological platforms and the integration and use of financial services and the insurance service.
- Participate in establishing disruptive solutions that link the banking business with technology.
- Ongoing improvement of the Muro tool, following best practices in usability and design.
- OpenNow Architecture. Scale applications, appification and use of microservices.
- Implement data quality rules and controls, as well as their monitoring and follow-up via the corresponding control panels and dashboards.
- Follow up and testing before pushing out new software.
- Ongoing improvement with the optimisation of applicative processes and the detection of inefficiencies.
- Actively collaborate with different teams, internal and external, that are involved in the various projects you are responsible for.
- Collaborate and work with the different teams involved in the global/entity technology strategy.
If you are passionate about...
- Designing projects focussed on practical application and collaborating on complex, large-scale implementations with many related fields.
- Leading and making decisions related to the comprehensive end-to-end project and its progress.
- Defining realistic metrics focussed on measuring the progress of developments and the service yield, recognising the associated costs.
- Design defined solutions with all the implicated stakeholders.
- Identifying the technical risks and offering mitigation strategies.
Key skills and requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics or the like.
- Medium level of written and spoken English.
- Experience in similar positions. Particularly in a financial or insurance institution.
- Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban similar) and management tools (Clarity PPM, Confluence, Picnic…) a plus.
- Experience in Qliksense technology, data modelling, Kafka, Salesforce, APIs,…
- Learn about code standards.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the project or customer, and manage pressure.
- Communicate and listen actively, understanding while allowing colleagues to express themselves.
- Know the techniques for scaling processes, high availability and load sharing to appropriately manage the evolution of the projects.
- Ability to design a short- (3 months) and medium-term (6-9 months) strategy for the projects you manage.
- Knowledge of programming languages and DB management a plus.
