What your day to day life will look like...
At CaixaBank TECH, we select people to join the Channels team to work on projects related to the financial sector: online banking, apps, ATMs
Your responsibilities in this position will be:
- Analysis and scheduling of products, projects and solutions in the financial sector
- Work in Lab mode with a multidisciplinary team using the Agile methodology.
- Overall development of software, understanding the whole lifecycle: review of requirements, analysis of the solution, scheduling and testing, incident review.
- Detecting synergistic gains and dependences among the various business areas and define action plans.
- Ensuring that the products developed are in line with the overall strategy of the business.
- Being the person responsible for the project’s financial planning. Identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Seeking solutions that cover the business needs with sustainable technological approaches (use of resources, ease of maintenance, etc.).
- Ensure the proper implementation of the solutions developed in different locations
- Ensuring the use of methodological and technological tools that help improve the work being done, proposing improvements to the way of taking on the projects.
- Anticipating risks, identifying the problems and circumstances that harm the project and recommending realistic solutions that are within reach of the team.

Requirements
- Required Training/Education: Computer Engineering / Telecommunications, Degree in Mathematics, Physics or similar.
- Must have a background in mobile applications and/or mobile web environments.
- Experience in financial applications, insurance or similar, preferred.
- Knowledge of web and mobile environments: iOS, Android native applications and Java web environments: WebLogic, J2EE, HTML.
- Experience developing apps for wearables, cars, smartTV, Windows Phone, a plus.
- Background in mobile environments: iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Huawei, Tizen and others.
- Knowledge and experience in hybrid and multiplatform application development (responsive, adaptive, pwa, react…).
- A background in mobile applications concerning security and application protections/obfuscation is a plus.
- Previous experience in working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban or similar) and management tools (Clarity PPM, Confluence, Jira…) would be ideal
- Programming experience with java, html5, css, js, SWIFT, kotlin, react native, flutter and nativescript, a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in testing and QA methods and tools a plus.
- Knowledge of Design System and use of Figma, Adobe XD and Sketch, a plus.
- English required.

- Communication and analytical skills are desirable, as well as experience in implementing/participating in several projects at the same time, including short-term and long-term planning.
- Ideally, the candidate will be a methodical and organised person who can multitask and ensure excellent results and quality.
