What your day to day life will look like...
- You will be responsible for and lead end-to-end projects of applications used in Financial Markets.
- Responsible for following up and testing before pushing out new software.
- Actively collaborate with different teams, internal and external, that are involved in the various projects you are responsible for
- Collaborate and work with the different teams involved in the global/entity technology strategy.
What projects do we develop?
The Markets Systems team is responsible for developing all the tools used in the area of Markets, ALM, Operations and CIB by CaixaBank employees in their interactions with other market participants and customers.
We also manage the main operating system of the bank’s treasury (MUREX), which provides services to all the areas previously listed.
Key skills and requirements:
- Knowledge of Backoffice. Knowledge about financial products (OTC derivatives, listed derivatives, fixed income, repo, deposits, etc.)
- The following technical knowledge will be a plus: Java, J2EE, Python, Linux, Shell Scripting, SQL Sybase/Oracle, XSLT, Visual Basic.
- Advanced level of spoken and written English
- Participation in implementation projects of “in-house” and market solutions in banking environments, leading external and internal hybrid teams.
- Ability to analyse complex processes.
- Understanding of high-level requirements.
- Decomposition into simple blocks and transfer of specific requests to the manufacturer/supplier.
- Ability to summarise for reporting purposes. Executive summary to follow-up on the status of the project.
- Use of Demand Management tools (e. g. CA Clarity), Project Follow-up (e. g. CA Rally) and “ticketing” (e. g. Maximo).
