What projects do we develop?
We develop projects within the scope of “International Banking”, providing service to the international operational branches and the area of International Banking in a transversal way, while maintaining the products, payment methods and the accounting and regulatory processes specific to each country.
We seek corporate solutions aimed at providing service to all countries and that enable us to converge towards scalable and global solutions for the different proposals posed by the entity.
What your day-to-day will be like…
- Person responsible for projects involving end-to-end of applications in the field of International Banking, with a technical profile.
- Design projects focused on a practical and collaborative application in major and complex implementations.
- Functional and technical definition of the projects to implement.
- Technical monitoring of the solutions proposed.
- Independently lead all the aspects of the project, both the decisions related to the global end-to-end project and the needs of the team to meet or exceed the expectations of our end users: direct, enable or train to the team to ensure the success of the project.
- Define realistic performance metrics for the project, recognising the associated costs, identifying deficiencies and planning the way to solve similar problems in the future.
- Constant interaction with other teams. Collaborate and work with the different teams involved in the global/entity technology strategy.
- Ensure satisfaction and functional compliance, in keeping with said strategy.
- Know the market and the business’s vision for the projects being managed.
- Constant communication with business units within the scope of International Banking and operational branches.

Requirements:
- Required Training/Education: Degree in Computer science, Mathematics or Engineering.
- Knowledge of projects within the technological field. Knowledge of the AS400 / ISeries technology and Adelia language will be especially considered.
- Knowledge of API development and integration for connection with international systems.
- Experience in Cloud environments (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) and databases.
- Advanced level of spoken and written English.
- Other languages, such as French, Italian or German, will be considered.
- Experience interfacing with both technical and business units. Ability to communicate with co-workers, and experience leading projects with both internal and external multidisciplinary teams. Communication and active listening, allowing co-workers to express themselves.
- Managerial experience in projects, planning, economic management, risk management, etc.
- Knowledge of and experience in environments.
- Ability to self-learn new tools on the market that allow us to better serve our customers.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the project, both technical and functional, and resilience management skills.
- Be able to analyse unfavourable situations and to deal with them patiently and effectively through teamwork.
- Time management: Be able to comply with delivery times and dates while keeping proper control and organisation of the tasks.
