What your day to day life will look like...
The Markets Systems team is responsible for developing all the tools used in the area of Markets, ALM, Operations and CIB by employees of the financial institution in their interactions with other market participants and customers.
One of the main functional areas is currency operations, where we develop solutions to trade FX products for customers (spot, forward, strategies).
We also manage the main operating system of the bank’s treasury (MUREX), which provides services to all the areas previously listed.
Key skills and requirements:
- Technical knowledge in developing applications in Cloud, processing Kafka events, communication processes, designing databases and development in Java and Python.
- Participation in implementation projects of in-house and market solutions in banking environments, leading external and internal hybrid teams.
- Knowledge in the currency trading business, in terms of products (Spot, Forward, Exchange Insurance, Payment Methods, Options, etc.) and concepts (price action, swap points, margin, hedging, etc.).
- Experience in trading platforms.
- Specifically in Electronic Trading – Refinitiv.
- Other platforms a plus: FXAll, EBS, 360, Bloomberg, etc.
- Advanced level of spoken and written English.
- Ability to analyse complex processes.
- Understanding of high-level requirements.
- Decomposition in simple blocks and transfer to specific requests to the manufacturer/supplier.
- Ability to summarise for reporting purposes.
- Executive summary to follow-up on the status of the project.
- Knowledge in the main Fintech solutions for FX operations (Revolut, TransferWise, etc.).
- Use of Demand Management tools (e.g. CA Clarity), Project Follow-up (e.g. CA Rally) and “ticketing” (e.g. Máximo).
