What your day to day life will look like...
Our project revolves around the production changes at the company and focuses on providing value to the Bank’s customers through any technological innovation on the market.
You will be part of a passionate team that works in a highly changing and challenging environment, whose members help one another to get the most out of themselves and the team as they guide the rest of the organisation in the adoption of new work processes. It does this by promoting the best practices, standards and tools laid out in the new model, and guaranteeing they are used successfully and managing the change process.
We help Delivery teams to become self-sufficient in knowledge and experience, building capabilities within CaixaBank Tech to promote innovation, the use of new technologies and modern working methodologies. All of this is done within a multidisciplinary team focused on agile frameworks.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Inspiring the entire organisation by leading the change and the new culture.
- Designing solutions based on BIAN (Banking Industry Architecture Network) and the technical architecture of microservices, events and Single Page Application. Integrated with market tools of our technology partners and the leading cloud providers.
- Contributing experience in Design Thinking dynamics that can be used to tackle challenges through collaboration and by promoting team work.
- Guiding teams and individuals in adopting agile work methodologies.
Requirements
- Required Training/Education: Computer Engineering / Telecommunications, Degree in Mathematics, Physics or similar.
- Basics of software architecture with experience as application architect in high-availability environments.
- Understanding of BIAN enterprise architecture.
- Client-side technologies: JavaScript, HTML and CSS. JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Backbone, etc.) JEE or .NET: Spring, Applications Servers, etc.
- Databases: Oracle, MySql, SqlServer, NoSql
- Knowledge and experience with multiple cloud providers (Google, Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud).
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices (testing, CD/IQ,…)
- Knowledge and experience in ALM tools (e.g. Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Selenium …) a plus.
- Languages: oral and written English.
- Experience: minimum 3 years of experience as architect.
Knowledge in these areas a plus:
- BIAN certification.
- Experience in mobile application development: iOS/Android
- Virtualisation: Knowledge and experience in a container platform (docker, k8s, Openshift…).
- Knowledge and experience in IaC tools (e.g., ansible, terraform…)
- Communications and networks.
- Security
- Experience in agile methodologies a plus.
