What your day to day life will look like...

• As part of your daily tasks, you will be in constant touch with other technical departments of the company.
• End-to-end management of projects with a strong technical approach focused on practical applications, and collaborating in decision-making (technical vision) on large and complex projects involving the environment where you will perform these functions.
• Independently lead the decisions related to the overall end-to-end project.
• You will design technical aspects of projects. Low- and high-level designs. Deep understanding of the environment, providing the best solutions based on business needs. Validate the solution once it is developed and demonstrate quality in the delivery to the business.
• You will lead the work of a team with significant outsourcing with a clear goal to achieve.
• You will support other team members on technical aspects of a project.
• You will define realistic metrics for project performance, taking into account associated costs. You will identify deficiencies and plan the way to solve similar problems in the future.
• You will contribute your technical and functional knowledge to achieve the challenges quickly, efficiently and with quality.
• Direct, plan and develop the teamwork with a clear goal in mind. Work on and satisfy the user’s needs, work with the internal stakeholders to define and create a process to carry it out, establish and administer the customer’s expectations, prepare jointly with the team the technical design of the solution, its scope and set goals.
• Interface and collaborate with various internal and external departments.
• Ensure that the proper standards defined for the life cycle of solutions of Reporting and Accounting projects.
• Ensure the quality of the work done and the timely delivery of results.
• Design the project focused on a practical and collaborative application in major and complex implementations.
• Independently lead every technical aspect of the project.
• Anticipate any potential mishap before it affects the project. Adaptability and problem solving are key to maintaining control of the project.
• Monitor the variability of performance testing over time.
• Constant communication with the accounting and reporting business units: Resolution, Risks, Finances, Accounting, Liquidity, Impairment,…

What projects do we develop?

We serve all departments through a self-service infrastructure that allows us to use data analysis resources and tools to make strategic decisions and provide more certainty to their action plans.

We give support by understanding the business needs and offering the best solution through technology scalable products within the field of Reporting and Accounting.

At the company level, we are on the road to the Cloud that will take the corporate data environment and the development of analytical use cases to new platforms and paradigms.

Key skills and requirements:

• Degree in computer science or mathematics.
• Medium level of written and spoken English.
• Experience managing complex projects and major implementations.
• Knowledge of programming languages, deploying and managing applications in Cloud and Devops, in BigData and analytical tools (Qlik Sense, among others)
• Know and be able to decide the best technical options that affect the feasibility and scalability of projects.
• Experience in data and/or analytics projects.
• Ability to estimate resources and budgets for technological requirements.
• Ability to involve both developers and business areas to achieve the project objectives.
• Solid knowledge of data storage, integration and operations in Big Data environments.
• Analyse data independently using SQL Developer, SAS or BI applications such as QlikSense, with the aim of being able to analyse data and plan technical and functional improvements/needs within the group’s projects.
• Extensive knowledge of the design, presentation and defence of high-level designs (HLD) and low-level designs (LLD).
• Ability to interact with technical departments (architecture/infrastructure/security) of the company in all the typical phases of a project’s life cycle.
• Accustomed to doing technological designs with the technical characteristics of the projects.
• Learn about code standards.
• Know the market and technical/functional vision of the projects being managed.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working with them.
• Experience in similar positions. Experience in a financial institution a plus.
• Desire to grow and develop professionally with us, continuously acquiring new knowledge and skills.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of the project or customer, and manage pressure.
• Communicate and listen actively, understanding while allowing colleagues to express themselves.
• Know the techniques for scaling processes, high availability and load sharing to appropriately manage the evolution of the projects.
• Ability to design a short- (3 months) and medium-term (6-9 months) strategy for the projects you manage.
• Management of external and internal resources, organisation skills and capacity to lead projects involving multiple areas and premises.
• Capacity to adapt to limiting aspects.
• Team leadership and negotiation skills.
• Accustomed to working in a multidisciplinary team in which there is a constant flow of information and support between all members.
• Be able to analyse unfavourable situations and deal with them patiently and effectively through teamwork.
• Time management: Be able to comply with delivery times and dates while keeping proper control and organisation of the tasks.
• Experience in converting functional business requirements into technical solutions.
• Communication and influence: Ability to speak in public on a regular basis, convince and convey strategies.
• Results-oriented and problem-solving approach.
• Knowledge of financial products a plus.
• Experience in similar positions. Experience in a financial institution a plus.
