What your day to day life will look like...
In the Architecture Department, we manage the core of the CaixaBank Group’s information system. You would become part of the team that is tasked with continuously improving the core of both the infrastructure and the development frameworks. The main projects have to do with system monitoring and resilience, with a very strong focus on Cloud technologies, since the company is on a path towards a multicloud environment.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Creation and maintenance of service alerts
- Creation of service monitoring dashboards
- Collaboration in preparing postmortem incident reports
- Analysis and design of solutions that improve the resilience of systems
- Follow-up and control of the initiatives to reduce obsolescence and technical debt
- Analysis of system capacities and proposed improvements.

- Java Server Side technologies (JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, MicroServices)
- Cloud (Docker, K8S, CloudFoundry, OpenShift, AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, Node, .Net, Go)
- Devops tools (Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Sonar, Artifactory, Selenium, Ansible, Terraform,…)
- Work with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Basics of software architecture with experience as application architect in high-availability, high-performance environments.
