What your day to day life will look like...
- End-to-end project responsibility for applications in regulatory reporting and reporting tools.
- Design projects focused on a practical and collaborative application in major and complex implementations.
- Functional and technical definition of the projects to implement.
- Technical monitoring of the solutions proposed.
- Independently lead all the aspects of the project, both the decisions related to the global end-to-end project and the needs of the team to meet or exceed the expectations of our end users: direct, enable or train to the team to ensure the success of the project.
- Define realistic performance metrics for the project, recognising the associated costs, identifying deficiencies and planning the way to solve similar problems in the future.
- Constant dialogue with other teams.. Collaborate and work with the different teams involved in the global/entity technology strategy. Ensure satisfaction and functional compliance, in keeping with said strategy.
- Know the market and business vision of the projects you manage
- Constant communication with the accounting and reporting business units: Resolution, Risks, Finances, Accounting, Liquidity, Impairment,…
What projects do we develop?
We develop projects in the field of Regulatory Reporting, serving planning units such as the Financial, Risks, Planning, Resolution and Accounting departments. In order to generate accounting and financial reports, a single information environment is needed with a guaranteed level of service and the most reliable information. It also needs a BI analytical environment and BI tools so that the end users of these tools can optimise and improve the corresponding follow-up and analyses.
Key skills and requirements:
- Required Training/Education: Degree in computer science, mathematics or engineering.
- Knowledge in the financial/regulatory/accounting field: ADE, MBA or similar
- Advanced level of spoken and written English.
- Experience interfacing with both technical and business units. Ability to communicate with co-workers, and experience leading projects with both internal and external multidisciplinary teams. Communication and active listening, allowing co-workers to express themselves.
- Managerial experience in projects, planning, economic management, risk management, etc.
- Knowledge and experience in information environments: Experience with projects in Big Data environments. Be familiar with the main tools on the market. Autonomous in data analysis, using SQL Developer or BI applications such as OBIEE/QlikSense, to analyse data and anticipate technical and functional needs within department projects.
- Ability to self-learn new tools on the market that allow us to better serve our customers.
- Ability to adapt to project needs, both technical and functional, and contribute to resilience management.
- Be able to analyse unfavourable situations and to deal with them patiently and effectively through teamwork.
- Time management: Be able to comply with delivery times and dates while keeping proper control and organisation of the tasks.
