What projects do we develop?
We develop artificial intelligence based solutions (AI) to promote the adoption of AI in the CaixaBank Group. For this, we define the AI strategy in the CaixaBank Group, offer scalable and robust AI services and applications, centralise and disseminate the knowledge and best practices in AI, and we explore new technologies and trends to stay at the forefront.
The Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence is a multidisciplinary team that conceptualises and develops projects with a user-centred vision that include cognitive applications (next generation of virtual assistants), solutions based on voice technologies and text analysis, advisors, natural language classifiers or document management.
What your day-to-day will be like…
- Develop software solutions that form part of the CaixaBank Group AI services.
- Complex solution implementation that entails the integration of the entire Tech stack.
- Ensure the efficiency, quality, yield and scalability of the developed solutions.
- Proactivity in the continuous improvement of the developed solutions, analysing the state of the art and market products and carrying out proof of concept.
- Develop reusable AI services for the entire organisation.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams in an agile framework.
- Have good knowledge of internal/external technological architecture and capacities.
Key skills and requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics
- Good knowledge of best practice in software development through its entire life cycle, from coding standards, architectural patterns, code reviews, code control, testing and operation.
- Experience in Python programming language: FastAPI, SQLAlchemy
- Experience in AI projects using libraries or frameworks such as PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, LangChain
- Experience in Java: Spring Boot, Hibernate, Kafka
- Experience in cloud environments with Docker / Kubernetes technologies
- Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle/My SQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB/Cassandra).
- Experience in agile methodologies (scrum)
- Proactivity, participation in completing team tasks
- Empathy, ability to understand the needs of others.
- Ability to work independently, knowing when to request assistance and review.
- Analytical thinker, ability to interpret multiple perspective analysis and their consequences.
- Active learning and experimentation in problem solving processes
- Communication and influence: communicate clearly and concisely with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Teamwork
- Highly motivated to overcoming challenges and designing innovative and transforming applications
