The Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence is a multidisciplinary team that conceptualises and develops projects with a user-centric vision, including cognitive applications (new generation of virtual assistants), solutions based on voice technologies and text analysis, recommenders, natural language classifiers or document management.
Developing solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI) to drive the adoption of AI across the CaixaBank group. To do this, define the AI strategy across the CaixaBank group, offer scalable and robust AI services and applications, centralise and disseminate knowledge and best practices in AI, and explore new technologies and trends, keeping us at the forefront of the state of the art.
- Developing software solutions that will form part of the CaixaBank Group’s AI services.
- Implementing complex solutions involving the integration of the entire technology stack.
- Ensuring the efficiency, quality, performance and scalability of the solutions developed.
- Continuous improvement of the developed solutions, analysing the state of the art and market products and performing proof of concept tests.
- Developing reusable AI services across the organisation.
- Working with multidisciplinary teams in an agile framework
- Understanding internal/external technology architecture and capabilities.
- Working with stakeholders to identify potential benefits and options available for consideration.

- Programming with the use of the following tools/languages: NodeJS, Python, PHP, SQL, C, C++, Java, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, Angular, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS.
- AI market solutions – Watson, GoogleCloud, AWS, Azure…
- AI technologies: language processing, machine translation, emotion detection, language detection, classification, image processing, voice recognition, etc.
- Software development throughout its life cycle, from code standards, code review, code control, testing and operation.
- Database integrations, APIs, ETL and services.
- Tackling challenges and design innovative and transformative applications.
- Agile methodology and working in a multidisciplinary technical team and in English.
