CaixaBank Tech has invested in creating a QA chapter whose goal is to improve the quality of developments, and thus of the services offered by CaixaBank Tech.
The responsibilities of this position include:
Ensuring the implementation of the operating model defined within the scope of development quality, service quality and improving customer satisfaction. Below are some of the most relevant activities required for this purpose:
- Ensure that the quality gates defined in the quality operating model are met by means of internal quality audits, automatic controls, evidential reviews, etc.
- Execute exploratory and regression tests provided by the development teams.
- Automate API REST tests, using tools such as Postman and JMeter, to guarantee the reliability and performance of the services.
- Manage defects arising from these tests with the various development, security, architecture and infrastructure teams using tools such as GitLab to ensure an efficient communication and follow-up.
- Prepare handbooks for the test and development tools, including the integration of frameworks such as Jest (JavaScript) and Selenium (browsers).
- Conduct training sessions on the use of tools for the development teams.
- Establish requirements for development tools in order to automatically apply the quality gates.
- Implement quality reports.
- Interact with the development teams.
Key skills and requirements:
- A minimum of two years’ experience as a software test engineer (we are seeking various seniorities).
- Competency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, JavaScript or Python.
- Experience in web application tests and Continuous Integration processes.
- Being familiar with version control tools, defect management and tests, such as GIT and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of databases.
Preferred:
- Having experience in mobile application tests.
- Being familiar with Kubernetes and microservice architecture.
