What your day to day life will look like...
Take part in cross-projects in the company, managing infrastructure transformation projects.
You will be responsible for:
- Defining and designing solutions and standards in your areas of specialisation based on your expert technical knowledge, consistent with the strategy of the CaixaBank Group.
- Evaluating the market and selecting solutions. You will lead their implementation and adapt them to satisfy the needs of the CaixaBank Group, consistent with the security, resilience and continuity standards demanded by the business and ensuring levels of availability and capacity while streamlining costs.
- Monitoring the services provided by third parties (outsourcing and outtasking of services) in your areas of specialisation. Developing, building and implementing continuous improvement methodologies to guarantee quality levels and business SLAs, directing the processes of the organisation for the Digital Transformation and the “Journey to the Cloud”
- Leading internal infrastructure projects using agile methodologies adapted to the needs of the organisation as accelerators of the Digital Transformation
- Managing the demand for infrastructure as part of the needs of internal departments of CaixaBank Tech and of all other organisations of the CaixaBank Group.
- Managing technological risk in the continuity, operations and change management taxonomies
- Managing vendors: Hardware, Software and Services
- Managing the outsourcing of infrastructure. Overseeing major contracts, understanding and managing baselines
- Managing multidisciplinary teams. Managing IT technologies and functions
Key skills and requirements:
- Over 3 years of proven experience as a specialist engineer in at least 2 or more technology domains involving infrastructure: Mainframe, Virtualisation, Mid-Level Systems, Middleware, Databases, Storage, Network and/or Data Centres; whether on premise, hybrid or in a public cloud of a large corporation.
- Extensive knowledge of traditional standards (ITIL, PMI) and new technologies and existing methodologies (Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Design Thinking, Agile, Lean,…) for application to the Digital Transformation and the “Journey to the Cloud”, adapting the organisation of infrastructures to the needs of the CaixaBank Group. Associated certifications a plus.
- Management of demand and projects, through effective, technical and results-oriented leadership.
- Service-oriented. Supervision and control as a specialist of Infrastructures of the processes of managing incidents/problems and changes involving infrastructure. Technological risk management in the continuity, operations and management taxonomies.
- Analytical ability to understand the business and its relationship with technology, with complex requirements and ensuring that the technical solution is implemented efficiently and in alignment with the standards of security, compliance, availability, resilience and performance in critical, high-impact production environments.
- Management of hardware, software and services vendors (contracts and compliance)
- Management of outsourcing (oversight of major contracts) in the area of systems architecture.
- Ability to adjust to new objectives, work tools
- Amenable to the exchange of knowledge and experiences
- Excellent communication skills with the team and interaction with other technical departments and with Business. Construction of solid relationships based on trust.
- High level of English: conversational English required (B2 or higher)
