What your day to day life will look like...
The candidate will join the data solutions design practice and form part of the team building the Caixabank group’s new information and analytics platform.
- You will be part of the Data platform team. This area will develop projects that enable the implementation of various cloud-based data solutions.
- Together with the team, you will participate in the construction of different solutions that the Date team offers the CaixaBank IT department.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Functional requirement review of new Data applications understanding the details that form them.
- Translation of business rules to functional data concepts.
- Define, create, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that adequately represent the entity’s operations and functions.
- Integrate data from disparate sources to help define a data dictionary or enterprise data catalogue.
- Support and work alongside the Data Engineers team in the implementation and deployment of data solutions.
- Ensure the correct optimisation of the models according to the technical limitations of the databases where the physical model is implemented.
- Ensure standardisation and data quality in applications developed.
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards defined by governance and platform teams.
Key skills and requirements:
- Knowledge of model development methodologies (DataOps, etc.).
- Experience in different methodologies (E/R, Kimball, Data Vault…).
- Knowledge in SQL and NoSQL Database design and implementation.
- Experience in data anonymisation to ensure the security, privacy and traceability of sensitive data in Big Data and Analytics applications.
- Knowledge of data transformation and cleaning (ETL, data wrangling).
- Experience in conceptual, logical and physical data models (OLTP, Data Warehouse, etc.).
- Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality.
- Management of metadata: experience in tools and maintenance of metadata repositories.
- Experience collaborating on projects to implement/modify Big Data and Analytics architectures
- Ability to assess and select appropriate working procedures and approaches to overcome technical challenges.
- Knowledge of agile working methodologies.
- Skills and experience supervising technical teams.
- Communication and influence.
- Languages: Spoken and written English.
