What your day to day life will look like...
The role of the Cloud Security Architect is to design and implement robust and scalable security architectures in cloud environments, ensuring resilience against threats and compliance with global security standards. The position is available in Barcelona or Madrid, with a hybrid work model.
Description of responsibilities:
- Design and implement security architectures for cloud environments, protecting data, networks, applications and services.
- Develop and integrate security frameworks and policies throughout the cloud application lifecycle.
- Evaluate and mitigate security risks by applying corrective measures in cloud infrastructures.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure security practices are integrated from the design phase.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in cloud security and industry best practices.
Must-have requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or related fields.
- More than 5 years’ experience in information security, with a focus on cloud architectures.
- Advanced knowledge of platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS or Azure. Experience in GCP a plus.
- Experience in multicloud and hybrid environments, as well as in DevSecOps.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, Google Cloud Security Engineer).
- Fluent English, both spoken and written.
Nice to have:
- Experience with penetration testing and security audits.
- Leadership skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Advanced knowledge in data encryption and identity management (IAM).
- Experience with risk mitigation methodologies and security process automation.
