What your day to day life will look like...
The candidate will join the company platforms’ DevOps team and will design, develop and execute the DevOps practices for the platforms.
The responsibilities in the position include:
- Govern the team’s tools that govern the life cycle of the applications of its platform
- Define the DevOps strategy and the governance model for the development life cycle.
- Automate and industrialise the development life cycle independently of the technology stack
- Automate and industrialise the deploy of applications independently of the technology stack
- Migrate to hybrid cloud environments (IBM Cloud, GCP, Azure), containerisation of development life cycle tools
- Streamline and standardise DevOps solutions.
- Know and communicate development standards to the development teams and establish the automatic controls needed to comply with these standards.
- Guide and help development teams in the construction and deployment of new solutions
- Identify in advance, diagnose and establish troubleshooting action plans. Operation of the application
- Define and develop the solutions
- Have experience in project and management and agile methodology.
- Have experience in demand management and infrastructure and application capacity management.
Requirements
Required training/education: Higher education in Computer science / Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics or similar.
Technical skills:
- Basics of DevOps architecture with experience as application architect in high-availability environments.
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices (testing, CD/CI, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience in a container platform (docker, k8s, CloudFoundry, Openshift, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience in the automation of deployments (e.g. Ansible, etc.)
- Knowledge or experience in other software development fields in mobile environments (IOs, Android), web environments (j2ee,.net, react, angular, etc.), client-server technologies (JS, html and css), databases (Oracle, MySql, SqlServer, NoSql) and OS (Windows and Linux) a plus.
- Knowledge in virtualisation, communications and networks and security a plus.
- Medium to high level of English: spoken and written.
- Experience: minimum 3 years’ experience as an architect, with the possibility of adapting the position to the experience provided.
